and again, this is not close to finish at all. However, instructors just wanted to see the ideas being polished and the animation we could polish later on.
and ta da~ here it is...the final dish washing animation. So you probably wonder "it's not funny or anything...why did the teachers like it?" Well base on what my instructors said, the important thing here is that in the simplicity of it, there is an entertainment value from how it stays true to the real world.
Though I may not have achieve it entirely, but this animation suppose to make some people who wash enough dishes immediately know that feeling as they watch this 7 seconds short excercise. So instead of just feeling like watching another animation, some can really connect with it. That's putting animation onto another level. It's easy to just make a cartoony character jumping or waving hands around, but it's hard to really capture the emotion or the mental state that the character is in.
I think this piece of animation has just touch the edge of what the instructors want. But it's good enough for now, at least I'm going in the right direction...hopefully.
